I can’t believe I haven’t put this up. This is definetly one of my most favorite shows. I believe they were .5 off from perfection, with a 99.5

It’s all based on the WAY-FUCKING-OVERDUE release of Chinese Democracy, Guns n’ Roses (or more particularly Axl Rose) 17-year in-the-making release.

[Dr. Pepper] announced earlier this year that they would give everyone in America a free Dr Pepper (excluding former Guns N’ Roses guitarists Slash and Buckethead) if Axl Rose managed to release the long-delayed Chinese Democracy sometime in 2008.

But, how do I obtain said Dr. Pepper?

Hit by car, then train, victim says he’s had even worse days

Drunk and aching after getting struck by a car and self-medicating with whiskey, Robert “Ice Man” Evans wasn’t alarmed when he a beam of light appeared out of the darkness as he walked across a narrow railroad trestle in Boulder.

A Burlington Northern Santa Fe whistle blared as an empty coal train approached at 20mph; Evans continued walking his bike toward the oncoming locomotive at 4:45 a.m. Wednesday.

“I seen it coming quite a ways,” Evans said Wednesday while he was receiving treatment at Boulder Community Hospital for a second time within seven hours. “I thought I could beat it.”

This song is FREAKIN AMAZING! I didn’t find out about disturbed until recently when I was downloading some torrents. Best in their genre. Their lyrics have meaning and the music moves you. The rhythms and chord progressions in their single Inside the Fire blow me away every time I hear it.

David Draiman describes the song as being real racy, “.. about me standing over the body of my girlfriend, who just killed herself, and the Devil is standing over me, whispering in my ear to kill myself.” This is really emphasized because when Draiman was 16, his girlfriend comitted suicide, saying “It was an unbelievably horrific and painful experience, and it was cathartic to make the song, and it really took me having a certain mindset to do it, and I had to wait ’til I was ready.”
The video is even more powerful because Draiman walks into his appartment to find his girlfriend who hung himself. He then quickly takes a gun to his mouth but is unable to kill himself and ends up in a mental institution.
